Critic:

Real Hamburgueria

The new hamburgers of the city left Alfredo Lacerda (wide) mouth open. A pleasure.

Over the past year, hamburgers have learned a number of lessons, so many and so good that they have been able to rescue this food from the fast food hole, elevating it into a fashion phenomenon, in tight competition with trendy appetizers and canning houses.

This Real Hamburgueria, in the Cedofeita area, is one of the best examples of what you can do with a slice of minced meat, with the added value of being served in a nice place by nice people. the basis are tall, well-baked hamburgers, the notorious caramelizing aromas of protein. The watercress also transverse, to give spicy and texture. As far as cheese is concerned, as in other restaurants, it has also been realized here that there is more and better than the dull, yellow slices used on the cafe’s burger menu in front of the high school.

Otherwise there is imagination and criterion in the choice of products. The Chaparro comes with spinach, black pork farinheira, Serpa cheese and egg (€ 7.50). Magnificent the Serrano: Watercress, mountain cheese and ham in barley bread (7,50 €). Spicy Malagueta with Castelo Branco cheese, chilli jam and chilli itself (€ 6.50). There is also the Troika: it costs 4,50 € and comes with lettuce and Flemish cheese. All served on plate with good industrial potato sticks.

Sábado Perfeito

The ideal itinerary for those who want to follow the main trends of the city in one day.

21.00 – Real Hamburgueria Portuguesa

The home of Rua da Torrinha is earning many points in the best burger spot championship in town. Yes, you risk getting there and queuing, but the general opinion is that it is well worth it.
